STONE       CHIMP

Jon has been playing and singing in bands throughout Queensland for over fifteen years. Jon has been the singer and co-producer of bands including, Competitive Y-fronts, Dynamic lifta, Mensa death squad, and Mushroom Tom. Additionally, Jon has performed as back-up vocalist and sampler in Brisbane’s heavy metal band D9, as well as supporting many international and national acts. 

Jon co-produced Stone Chimp’s debut album Cleaner Demeanour, and he is today regarded as one of the best and most innovative singers in Queensland’s rock scene.

Steve has been playing drums for over ten years in different brisbane bands such as Blind Man's faith and Sons of the Soil. Steve has a diploma of music and also takes on a lot of the management and booking side of band life. Steve helped produce and engineer stone chimp's debut album

Hailing from rural Queensland, Simon has been playing music since the age of six. He has been involved in many projects as both a vocalist and bassist, most notably as bassist/back-up vocals in Death at 27 who supported many Australian metal-core icons such as 'The Amity Affliction and Wish for Wings'. He now brings his unique bass style to Stone Chimp.

Zac has been playing in bands over 10 years around QLD, he has a diploma of Music, has played in many bands including blind man's faith,  and helped produce and engineer Stone Chimp's debut album "cleaner demeanour" 

Kev is a legend among the QLD and Australian Rock scene! having been a part of or helped to create many australian institutions of rock. His bands, Psychotic Lemmings, and community cervix have toured with bands such as, Suicidal Tendancies, Pennywise, millencolin and other big bands.

Kev also played in Dreamkillers, A band that is known as one of the best live acts australia has produced.
